A lot of people who are exerting too much of their brain power usually exhaust not only their physical strength when engaging in various multi-tasking activities, they also tend to over extend their brains up to the point when it plainly needs some good old time for relaxation. A lot of busy people who seem to cannot fathom the idea of relaxing and taking time of from work, as well as their worries, tend to actually start having nervous breakdowns, anxiety depression and all sorts of mental illnesses that can cause a person’s sanity to go haywire, fortunately, if you’re one of those poor unfortunate ones who are unable to distress and is constantly worried and fussing over things, there are actually available cures and various treatments for treating anxiety depression.

Anxiety depression is actually characterized by all sorts of irregularities and erratic behavior from the person who is suffering from it, this is usuallu due to certain stress triggers that may tend to easily cause a person undue jitters and stress. Many people who tend to easily get nervous over certain activities are actually suffer from having anxiety depression, it’s just important to be strong-willed when it comes to fight difficult and stressful activities. It maybe difficult to overcome at first, one needs trying to be cool and calm when he or she is currently under pressure, it’ll actually save your mental health from going totally downward spiral.

If one wants to cure himself from a mental illness, he or she must remember to be honest to himself/herself and know what kind of depression or mental illness he or her actually has, the individual must go to reputable psychiatrist to get diagnosed correctly and also be able to get the right. Here are the various types of depression:

Manic or Bipolar depression – characterized by sudden and extreme changes in one’s mood wherein one minute he or she is in an elevated state of euphoria while the

next minute (day or week) he or she is feeling to be in a personal hell.

Postpartum depression – characterized by a prolonged sadness and a feeling of emptiness by a new mother wherein physical stress during child birth, an uncertain sense of responsibility towards the new born baby can be just some of the possible factors why some new mother go through this.

Dysthimia – caused by a small in degree of depression, although it’s a lot less severe, but it still needs to be treated as soon as possible, otherwise it may become more serious.

Cyclothemia – caused by a slight Manic or Bipolar depression, the individual who suffer from this mental illness will often suffer from intense changes in one’s moods.

Seasonal Affective Disorder – caused by feeling sense of emptiness during specific seasons (i.e. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall) studies however, prove that more people

actually fall in to a rut more during the Winter and Fall seasons and lastly, Mood swings, wherein a person’s mood may shift from happy to sad to angry in just a short time.

But the type of depression that has actually been proven to be quite common among people is anxiety depression, which is actually characterized by the state of being overly anxious about things. Anxiety, actually can help a person adjust his or her behavior to a certain stress activity, such as first date, or an important meeting. Anxiety usually helps you get ready to face certain difficult situations; therefore, anxiety is basically a good thing. Anxiety depression however, is simply the opposite, not to be easily dismissed as a “case of the nerves”; Anxiety depression is in actuality an illness that can be caused from the biological makeup of an individual, or in other words, a hereditary illness.

There are also several types of anxiety depression, each of them having it’s own characteristics. Take for example Generalized Anxiety Disorder or GAD, this kind of Anxiety depression is a lot more complicated than the average Anxiety depression, in spite of possibly being a day-to-day habit for those who suffer this kind of Anxiety depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder actually makes the individual quite more paranoid than usual, anxiety attacks are more frequent, even absurd at times. They can be anxious in any time even when there’s no reason that makes them nervous or depressed. People suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder actually shows a lot of symptoms, from lack of sleep, to being unable to relax, getting tired easily, cannot concentrate on what they’re doing and even suffering from depression. This kind of Anxiety depression is still curable; just a little work will actually do the trick.

Consult a reputable cognitive behavior therapist who’ll help give the individual the therapy that he or she needs to help him or her loosen up, also prescribed medicines are sort of a must to help these individuals battle anxiety attacks, help them calm down and relax.

The following may come as a surprise to most people, including most medical doctors.

Unsuspected brain allergies are the cause of most mental disease or problems!

Dr Marshall Mandell in the early 80’s made this point very clear. He appeared on a Phil Donahue TV program with videos of persons with mental problems dramatically worsened by a drop or less of some allergen. He was the first to name such as “brain allergies”.

In 1982, Dr Von Hilsheimer introduced the first End-Point-Titration allergy testing into Florida, and I worked with him at an allergy clinic in Orlando. We amazed several MD allergists in that clinic with depression and many other cases being solved.

During that time, I studied allergy/sensitivity extensively. I found a list of mental diseases caused by allergens that surprised me.My previous experience and learning in psychology had never prepared me for such. I found the following in a “standard” text on allergies as “Mental Symptoms”. It surprised me, and probably will you.

Schizophrenia, depression, hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), Emotional instability or hypersensitivity, Insomnia, Chronic fatigue, crying jags, stuttering, excessive daydreaming, anxiety, panic attacks, withdrawn, listless, seizures, aggressive behavior, anger, irritability, silly, tense, restless, excited, agitated, behavior problems in children, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, poor comprehension, confusion, impaired attention, obsessive thoughts, compulsive behavior, feelings of unreality, disorientation, false beliefs or delusions, hallucinations, suicidal, feel like hurting self.

I was introduced to the latest EEG biofeedback therapy of raising the amplitude of the brain wave just above Alpha, in the range of 12-15 Hz while giving a 4 day orthomolecular seminar in Soviet Georgia in 2000. (later named the SMR brain wave) In the discussion, I remembered that list of mental diseases caused by allergens. I then proposed the following theory: “Raising the SMR brain wave somehow changed the affect of allergens on the brain. To date, no other theory fits the data.

When I returned to the US, I started the first leasing of EEG BF equipment for home use. This did not endear me to the clinicians who were charging up to $250 per half hour for the service. The actual operation is so simple that anyone with a high school education can easily learn how to do it, although the learned clinicians will (as usual) protest the necessity of a professional approach.(There is no record of harm being done to anyone, and no license is required to practice this therapy.)

Dr Jiri Tyrl of the Czech Biofeedback Society listed papers in 2001 about EEG biofeedback that showed the following mental diseases as being either cured or greatly improved by this feedback:

Epilepsy; ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Academic-Cognitive Enhancement; Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Sleep Disorders, Depression, Hemispheric Asymmetry, Anger, Addictive Disorders, Brain Injury, Stroke, Coma, Spasticity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Dysfunctions, Headache and other Pain, Schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Parkinson’s Dystonia, Tourette’s Syndrome, Autism; Cognitive Decline with Aging, Asthma Hypertension Dissociative Disorders, Creativity, Optimal Functioning, Criminal Recidivism.

Compare the two lists, and the parallels are too much to be coincidental. It was obvious to me that allergens were causes of much more mental disease than had been suspected, and EEG biofeedback which raised this particular brain wave was solving these allergens. (Both my wife and I have either “cured” or alleviated lifelong allergies.)

In 2004, one of those comic light bulbs went on above my head, and I realized that it should be possible to do the same thing – namely raise the SMR brain wave – by use of subliminal messaging.

With a call for volunteers, I got over 20, who sent me weekly results via email for a month. Most were various types of ADD/ADHD, with a few depressives and insomniacs mixed in.Both my allergen theory and my subliminal theory were shown to be correct by the results of every test to date.

We have shown that this Neuroliminal Training is at least as effective as EEG Biofeedback (aka Neurofeedback) for ADD/ADHD, depression, insomnia, autism, and epilepsy in six tests with over 150 volunteers.

We found lots of evidence In all these tests that my theory of raising SMR solves allergies.Twin boys slept in the same room in one case. One boy was ADHD, and he was “cured” in 8 weeks. The other had ragweed hay fever, and that was cured in the same time. Many more such testimonials shows clearly that NT does either cure or alleviate most allergies and.or food sensitivities,

We’re going even further with a current test that includes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Depression of all types, etc. This test will end in January 2009.

Manic Depression is another name for Bi-Polar. When an individuals mood swings are very irregular with sudden changes from good to bad this is commonly associated with being Bi-Polar. It is just another in the many forms of depression. Manic depression is not the same as just being sad or upset for over something in particular. Manic depression is more serious than that. Another stage of depression is the diagnosis for bi-polar disorder. Manic depression is diagnosed in millions of cases each year in America. In general 17 million people battle depression each year in America. The draw back is that only a third of the potentially affected will ever seek medical assistance or get some type of diagnosis. When the sufferer refuses aid, there can be no cure. A lot of people refuse to deal with any disease called a mental illness. The negative image of someone who is nuts is just too much for them. Brain diseases are generally quite complex. The stigma of a diagnosis is a hard pill to swallow. But having this disease isn’t a sign of personal weakness. It doesn’t mean you’re insane. You have a condition like any other medical condition. If it’s identified it can be cured. The causes of all forms of depression are still being examined in the medical profession. It has been shown that depression can be brought on by many possibilities. Doctors take into consideration many things such as biological factors, the environment, and DNA. A chemical imbalance in the brain helps cause it. Stress is another major factor in depression. Daily life brings stress, period. Work related issues or the dynamics of a dysfunctional family can create it. Depression knows no bounds. It can affect the rich and the poor. Race isn’t an issue. No color or nationality is free from this illness. There are similar symptoms no matter the type of depression. Dramatic shifts in personality and up and down mood swings are some. Insomnia is another symptom for depression. The feeling of helplessness, hopelessness and Desperation. When your ability to function properly at work and at play becomes ever apparent then the possibility of depression is real. There is hope for depression sufferers. Help is available. There are medicines both prescribed and natural that can offer a cure. Psychotherapy can also help. Support groups can also be helpful for those with manic depression. Look for assistance first.

How’s the old happy meter looking these days? Is your level of bliss up to par? Don’t laugh; this is a legitimate question considering all the happenings in recent years. It almost seem that people need loads of catalysts to stir a little happiness. Many suffer from anxiety and they do not even know the reason. I take a gander at our youth and wonder what happened. How did so many suffer from bouts of anxiety and depression? I do not remember experiencing this affliction as a child or teenager. Regardless of the influence or cause, anxiety and depression are dilemmas that must be dealt with.

Do you know someone who suffers from social anxiety idsorder depression? This is no laughing matter; nor is it anything to be ashamed of. However, it should still be dealt with properly. I am totally shocked at all the anxiety and depression troubling teenagers in this modern world. What do they have to be down about really? Of course, provided that they have a decent home life and the necessities. I can remember back when I was a child and it was playtime 24/7. I only just need my imagination. No limit for fun and excitement. Even when I was younger, I will entertain myself with things I enjoyed doing. There are no more the concept of good old-fashioned fun today. Children across the country suffer from anxiety and depression. And some of these juveniles have no cause for their torment and melancholy. Is it possibly the media warping their young perception? One must admit it’s a tad difficult to understand why some one with their entire life ahead of them, and hardly any work to do would be down. Luckily, there are ways to deal with anxiety and depression. One of the more popular routes is counseling. So if you know someone who suffer from anxiety disorder, you need to lend them a helping hand. Many of them will not seek help on their own.

A good way to understanding anxiety and depression is via the Internet. There are a variety of websites and help sites online that can further educate you on the effects and symptoms of anxiety and depression. Some signs of anxiety and depression are sleeping too much, avoiding others, staying inside, lack of motivation and failing to eat. Get help if this is familliar.
