If you make a simple search on the internet to find a panic cure you will be able to find tens of sites that offer a wide range of solutions ranging from drug whether pharmaceutical or natural to psychological steps and methodologies including meditation, Yoga and exercising. All claiming to be the best panic cure.

After researching multiple methods and reading articles that post statistical information we found that each of those – that are not fraud and are based on scientific research – have a success rate.

Any success rate whether it is a 90% or a 10% success rate has two sets of information that it is telling us. The first and obvious one is the percentage of people who responded positively to the panic cure.

The second which is not that obvious is that whatever the success rate is, there are a number of people who did not respond to this solution and the solution to them did not bring in the expected results. Therefore, to those people that solution or cure was not effective and for sure was not the best.

Accordingly we can safely conclude that there is nothing called the best panic cure in absolute terms. There is something that is called the best solution that suit my lifestyle and my particular panic or anxiety case.

Read more about panic cure here and if you are looking for one you check and study this anxiety solution to see if it fits you.

This question is in the minds of many anxiety disorder sufferers. It is not an easy task to find an anxiety attacks treatment.

There are so many diseases that have a long recovery span but at least the cure is known and straight forward. This is not the case when it comes to anxiety disorder.

What works or worked for one person does not necessarily mean that it will work for the next person. There are certain criteria that we need to make sure of before we are able to choose the best anxiety treatment that suits us.

This criteria is not what we want to discuss here, we are going to discuss something more basic but unfortunately is missed by many. First we need to answer a simple question: how did we arrive to the conclusion that we suffer from an anxiety disorder?

If the answer is not through a doctor’s diagnosis, then your conclusion is wrong. Even if your guess was right, your method is wrong. The only way you should act on an anxiety disorder is if you have been diagnosed by a professional in the area that you suffer from this disorder. You should also know what kind of anxiety disorder you suffer from.

You will also need to understand what are the underlying causes for your specific case.

Now you are equipped to find a suitable anxiety attacks treatment that suits your case.

When you conduct your research for such an anxiety attacks solution, you would need to make sure that the program you are interested in is credible and based on scientific research and that it suits your lifestyle and is something that you are able to fulfill its requirements.

It does not matter how effective or a success rate a program has if you will not be able to follow its requirements. It will simply not work because simply you did not follow it.

We have conducted some research on such treatments and we have found two programs that have received good reviews from both users and experts.

We are going to mention only one of them here which is called The Linden Method. If you want to read more about the topic and have access to more channels that provide anxiety solutions you can check out our post titled "Choosing An Anxiety Attacks Treatment."

A common stereotype for women is that they are thought to be more of a worrier than men. Studies show, however, that men are just as susceptible to anxiety and panic attacks as women. Realistically, anxiety is a natural human emotion. In many instances, anxiety is helpful in that it prevents us from doing harmless things to ourselves. It can become very painful and harmful if it becomes a common, recurring condition. Lately, natural anxiety cures have become a popular treatment option for those suffering from chronic anxiety.

Many unwanted effects can come from constant worrying such as OCD, phobia, and even depression. Panic attacks are the most common effect that anxiety can cause. Even though, both men and women are susceptible, women are more likely to suffer these disorders of anxiety and experience panic attacks.

There are obvious reasons that anxiety occurs more often in women ,such as biological factors like more drastic physical changes that women go through-pregnancy, menopause, and the like. Even still, it is uncertain and specific reasons are unknown as to why women suffer more than men.

To summarize, panic attacks and anxiety are very real and unfortanately often go untreated. There is hope for someone suffering from anxiety and various treatments on how to handle panic attacks have been proven to work for a signifcant number of people. If you suspect you suffer often from anxiety, do yourself a favor by researching possible treatments and finding one that will work for you.

Do you need help to relieve anxiety symptoms? When it comes to anxiety and panic, every victim should know how to deal with it and at least attempt to heal their condition. Most people don’t take the time to allow their minds relax, or a prepare their minds for stressful situations. After reading this article, you’ll learn the correct way to relieve yourself of anxiety and panic.

One of the best ways to keep anxiety levels in check is to relax yourself at the end of the day. Allow yourself to have some quiet time. Everyone deserves to have a few moments to themselves every day — a time where you don’t have to worry about anything.

You might want to light some candles and sit in your most comfortable chair. Give yourself a little bit of calm time every day, and after a week or so you’ll notice that your anxiety levels have dropped dramatically.

Another great way to relieve anxiety is to prepare yourself for potentially stressful situations. If you have to make a presentation, make sure you give yourself a lot of rehearsal time. If you have a job interview, write down any questions that you think the employer might ask you, and come up with good answers to them. Being prepared helps you to feel more secure and confident in yourself and your abilities. This confidence can work wonders to help relieve anxiety.

Improving your self esteem will also benefit you. It’s unfortunate, but many people spend far too much time talking themselves down. Instead of telling yourself that you’re unworthy of happiness and good things, go ahead and congratulate yourself for being a great person. Every person who has ever come into this world is a small miracle – that includes you.

In conclusion, it is not too difficult to learn how to relieve anxiety. As long if you give yourself some quiet time each day, prepare yourself as much as possible for events that make you anxious, and remember that you’re worthy, you’ll find that you’re calmer, happier person who can handle whatever life throws your way. Controlling anxiety attacks and disorder is easier than you think!

We know that to get angry is not a good idea. We haven’t included it in our ideal self-image.

When we get angry our whole personality changes. Our face becomes suffused with blood; our eyes blaze; our body stiffens with muscular tension; respiration tends to be interrupted or suspended; body temperature increases and in all we become generally uncomfortable and unattractive.

When we get angry we tend to lose our appetite, but that is not all. We tend to lose our friends.

So we have to find ways to keep any feelings of anger under control and diffuse our psychological danger situation before it becomes critical to demand an outlet in action – and such actions are always destructive.

When we begin to feel tense and are concerned that any negative feelings or thoughts may erupt, we can be reminded of the cottage wisdom just to ‘take ten deep breaths’. This advice still holds good and is a quiet and simple practise that allow us application at any time and in any situation.

If the trigger situation or condition is not related to a passing situation but causes involvement of deeper feelings there is nothing better that we can do than to go the gym, perform some vigorous exercise programme at home, or get involved in a sport.

When we are angry, is not a good time to talk. But singing is good if the situation allows it. Alternatively we can silently repeat a poem or mantra, or hum a melody.

Some people find that their anger is born of self centred feelings and thoughts and by engaging in some social or charitable work in helping others less fortunate, they gain a more balanced perspective. Sincere work of this kind allows no room for anger.

Others recall the old fable of Rumplestilskin ? and feel great release by going into a corner and stamping until their tension disperses – safely, except for the floorboards!

We can rationalize our anger. We can excuse our personal reaction of anger. We can defend anger as righteous indignation or hurt. But we all have to find a way and learn how to diffuse the mood, dissolve the tension. We must try to solve the problem that creates anger, an ugly emotion that threatens our peace and our mental fitness.

Although it is the most important part of our physical body and processes, representing as it does our direct link we have to our Maker or our spiritual source, most of us have not kept pace with modern neurological science and consequently have limited knowledge of the brain.

What do I know about my brain, you ask?

I know my brain is housed as a sensitive instrument within the confines of my bony skull.

I believe it is shaped somewhat like a walnut with a division between the hemispheres and all crinkly but much softer in texture than a nut.

Each part of the brain has a different purpose and responsibility and is wired with unlimited connections to transmit commands and to receive information. Up until now, it is believed that most people only make use of about 1/12 of its capacity. But that figure is no doubt a seriously inaccurate one if we are to go by the similar assessments of use of our personal electronic computers, capable of so much more than we can fully utilize, particularly if we choose to just play electronic games.

Perhaps only the genius mentality of those who created the first advances in computer technology will ever have some clues to understand how our brain works. Most of us don’t want to understand how it functions, we just want to rely upon its capacity to do want we want and never crash. That’s what all of us want of our brain. We want to enjoy a high standard of mental fitness.

I know that my brain begins to complain when I have a headache. Sometimes I know why I get a headache as I do after drinking too much alcohol. At other times there seems to be no reason at all, except perhaps when I’m anxious about something. My brain doesn’t usually complain. It functions well enough and remembers most things I want to. Sometimes however, it seems to use the delete button too freely!

I can look after my brain if I don’t deliberately bang my head or suffer an accident, if I eat the right food, and get proper sleep and rest. I need my brain to last in good shape for the rest of my life. Along with other disciplines for mental fitness, I must remember to take a series of deeper breaths regularly, as my brain needs lots of oxygen to survive.

However, there are lots and lots of questions. I wonder, is my brain any different from yours?

Regarding my own thoughts I wonder, do they begin in my brain or does my brain only record what I think? Where do my thoughts originate?

I don’t know whether brains can work too hard. Just in case, I’d better stop thinking about it.

It is surprising how little we know about our breathing habits and how respiration affects physical and mental fitness.

Respiration is a supreme physiological requirement for survival of brain and body but also a vital need if we wish to enjoy good health and abundant energy.

We each will inhale approximately 25,000 breaths per day and an unconscious process. These breaths are usually shallow. Fortunately for our survival, even when we are unaware of it, the respiratory pump of nature relentlessly continues to supply us with energy from cradle to the grave. It would be wise to appreciate this lifeline and know more about the process.

Starting with self examination:

Are you a shallow breather or do you consciously aim take slower, deeper breaths?
Can you take a deep breath at will or do you find it difficult?
Do you generally breathe through your nose or mouth?
Do you suffer from sinus or asthma – conditions which detrimentally affect respiration?
How long can you hold your breath after inhaling? and after exhaling?
Do you sometimes suddenly realise that your respiration is lazy or its rhythm interrupted?
When does your breathing rate quicken?
Do you sometimes find one nostril blocked?

Examples of some of the benefits of improved breathing are obvious in overcoming health problems and increasing energy levels. But there are other benefits, some of them being very important regarding mental fitness and intellectual creativity.

If you are a mouth breather instead of drawing energy towards the brain through the nasal passages, it will tend to dull the intellect. So be sure to breathe through the nose.

Regular deep breathing provides more oxygen to help brain and energy levels.

The brain will need the lion’s share of available oxygen just to keep it operating.

Gaining a measure of control of your respiration gives you not only increased vitality but an increased sense of control of your life. After all, your breath, although an invisible connection, is actually your life line.

Yogis are experts in their study of the breath and can teach you much more.

We can assume that we are mentally well when:

Our emotions are balanced and constructive
We require a fine measure of control over our feelings so that our emotions help and do not hinder the mind in achieving what we want in life.

Rational thoughts and creative imagination are in balance
A rational thinker is a safe thinker. Imagination is the tool for creativity. They must be co-operative, each in its own sphere and where appropriate, in combination.

Our mind is free of anxieties and exaggerated responses
A confident mind free of anxiety conserves energy and avoids exaggerated responses

We feel free to express personal thoughts and ideas
We need to have the mental environment so that we can freely state our opinions and thoughts without fear of censure or ridicule.

We express a natural enthusiasm and love for life
These qualities are usually associated with youth. But there are few young people who appear happy and radiate enthusiasm. This important ingredient is required in our recipe for mental fitness and success in life.

Honesty and truthfulness are our instinctive traits
In all things honesty and truth are to be nurtured. We all value an honest and truthful person.

We feel a capacity for charity, compassion and understanding of others
The warm hearted, radiant personality cheers everyone around.

Our mind perceives with clear mental vision and good sense of direction or purpose
Vision and purpose are attributes of an individual soul who is motivated and ‘knows where he is going’- a vital ingredient in leadership.

We are confident and self reliant
We tend to feel comfortable in being associated with someone who possesses self confidence and self reliance and others feel so with you?

We are secure enough within ourselves to give encouragement and praise to others
Most people rarely receive any expression of encouragement or even affection from others. We lose nothing by giving deserving compliments or displaying affection.

Our character includes generosity
Everyone welcomes a generous nature that wishes to benefit others.

If we can say in honesty that we reflect some or all of these positive qualities in our personality we can consider that we are mentally very well indeed !

The following fact is a surprise to most people, including most MD’s

Most mental disease is caused by unsuspected brain allergies!

This fact was illuminated for me by Dr Marshall Mandell in the early 80’s. He appeared on the Phil Donahue show, with videos of persons with mental problems caused or worsened by allergen testing. He was the first to name such as “brain allergies”. Since there are no "physical" symptoms such as hay fever, hives, etc, few people are even aware of them as a problem. I have never tested anyone without finding some allergies!

I worked as an assistant to Von Hilsheimer in an allergy clinic. We introduced End-Point-Titration into Florida. We amazed several MD allergists in that clinic with depression and many other mental problem cases being solved.

During that time, I studied allergy/sensitivity extensively.I was surprised upon finding a list of "mental" diseases in a text on allergies. None of my previous experience and learning in psychology had prepared me for such. I found the following in a “standard” text on allergies as “Mental Symptoms”. It will probably surprise you.

Schizophrenia, depression, hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), Emotional instability or hypersensitivity, Insomnia, Chronic fatigue, crying jags, stuttering, excessive daydreaming, anxiety, panic attacks, withdrawn, listless, seizures, aggressive behavior, anger, irritability, silly, tense, restless, excited, agitated, behavior problems in children, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, poor comprehension, confusion, impaired attention, obsessive thoughts, compulsive behavior, feelings of unreality, disorientation, false beliefs or delusions, hallucinations, suicidal, feel like hurting self.

While giving a 4 day orthomolecular seminar in Soviet Georgia in 2000, I was introduced to the latest EEG biofeedback therapy of raising the amplitude of the brain waves just above Alpha, in the range of 12-15 Hz. (later named the SMR brain wave) In the discussion that followed, I remembered that list of mental diseases caused by allergens. I then proposed the following theory: “Raising the SMR brain wave somehow gradually changes the affect of allergens on the brain. At present, there is no other theory to fit the data.

I started the first company to lease EEG BF equipment for home use in the US in December 2000 upon return to the US.. As you can imagine this did not endear me to the clinicians who were charging up to $250 per half hour for the service. The actual operation is so simple that anyone with a high school education can easily learn how to do it, although the learned clinicians will (as usual) protest the necessity of a professional approach. (This in spite of no record of harm being done to anyone, and no license being required to practice this simple therapy.)

In 2001, Dr Jiri Tyrl of the Czech Biofeedback Society listed papers about EEG biofeedback that showed the following mental diseases as being either cured or greatly improved by this feedback:

Epilepsy; ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Academic-Cognitive Enhancement; Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Sleep Disorders, Depression, Hemispheric Asymmetry, Anger, Addictive Disorders, Brain Injury, Stroke, Coma, Spasticity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Dysfunctions, Headache and other Pain, Schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Parkinson’s Dystonia, Tourette’s Syndrome, Autism; Cognitive Decline with Aging, Asthma Hypertension Dissociative Disorders, Creativity, Optimal Functioning, Criminal Recidivism.

While these lists (copied verbatim fro the two different sources) are somewhat, it’s apparent that both cover virtually all mental problems. To me, that was further proof that my original theory (above) is correct.

In 2004, one of those comic light bulbs went on above my head, and I realized that it should be possible to do the same thing – namely raise the SMR brain wave – by use of subliminal messaging.

I put out a call for volunteers, and got over 20, who sent me weekly emails for 4 weeks. Most were various types of ADD or ADHD, with a few depressives and insomniacs mixed in.Both my allergen and my subliminal usage theories were anecdotally proved as correct. An interesting fact – 3 former "failed" users of EEG Biofeedback were included in that test, and they also failed with this one.

In 6 more volunteer tests since that time, we have shown that this therapy (named Neuroliminal Training) is at least as effective as EEG Biofeedback (aka Neurofeedback) for ADD or ADHD, depression, insomnia, autism, and epilepsy.

We’re going even further with a current test that includes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Depression of all types, etc. This test will end in early 2009.

Dr Bate is a retired orthomolecular psychologist who invented Neuroliminal Training, a simpler and
affordable way to change brain wave amplitudes solving
ADD-Autism, depression, insomnia, and more.
http://drbate.com – http://Neuroliminal.com

Physical fitness can be described relatively easily as a state of well being without pain or disease and the ability to freely participate in physical activities.

Mental fitness is more subtle but equally is a state of mental comfort, without stress or psychological disturbance, with all mental faculties functioning well to allow participation inintellectual exchange and activity.

Both aspects of health are naturally expressed in an abundance of energy both in physical vitality and in mental interest and enthusiasm.

Although there are many factors to consider in the concept of a healthy mind, basically it is a state and the mind is productive of vital, rational thought and such a person we would expect would be creative, of fine character and sound judgement.

Most certainly mental fitness is a condition where the mind is also free of fear, violence and moods of depression and other negative traits.

Above all the owner of a healthy mind knows no inward mental or emotional disturbance and finds their inner world comfortable and the outer life, good.

Mental fitness is generally displayed not only in intellectual ability and freedom from bias, but also by a necessary sense of humour. These and many other qualities we would admire in a person with health of mind – qualities which we ourselves would wish to possess.

But we should also remember that one of the most valuable attributes indicating a healthy mind, is the quality of “common sense” the essence of mental fitness.
