no i cant do any harm but its not recomended
Probably the biggest risk would be dizziness and therefore risk of passing out and drowning!
Massage actually triggers a certain part of the nervous system that tells your body to focus on things like digestion and sleeping and actually slows your heart beat and respiration. I am not sure what Indian Head Massage entails, so maybe ask them what reactions to expect.
4 Hours after should be okay, though. Your body should have enough time to get ready to be active again.
But just be sure you eat something with carbs and protein after the massage to get your system full of energy again, and get lots of fresh air before the aquafit class. Maybe even tell someone near you in the class about your massage IN CASE you have an adverse reaction, then at least someone will be prepared if something happens.
Go swimming before your massage if you can.
The only thing about going afterwards is that you will probably be too relaxed and not want to go. To get the most out of a massage it is better to just walk and feel the difference in your body and try to remember how peaceful you feel.
There really aren’t any reasons why you shouldn’t work out afterwards so you can but why ruin a good massage.
