First off, you should not take an anxiety pill which is supposed to be prescribed, unprescribed. That is dangerous and can harm you if taken wrongly.

Please go see a qualified doctor or psychologist to get a prescription if he/ she sees fit.

However, generally the effects normally can be felt within a 2 hours to a week, it definately is not instant. And due to the nature of the medicine, the effects will not be obvious, although it will help gradually.

You might want to try some relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, or consult your parents or trusted friends.

Find out as much information as possible from the internet or you can visit this site which helped me a lot.

i have been on anxiety medication for about 10 years, yes it works real fast. Get under some good doctors advice. God bless and good luck.

This is a really serious thing you shouldn’t be doing. Anxiety pills are addictive. For many that is the first step to addiction. Waiting for the reaction and then finding that you like it can so easily lead to more. I’m sure you know this but, feel I have to say it and I hope you won’t do this again.

it depends what kind it is, if it’s a benzo it should work after 20 mins to an hour. the first time i took one even at a low dose i was extremely drowsy, i dont take those any more.

i’ll just state the obvious and tell you that u shouldn’t be taking pills that aren’t perscribed. now if ur taking an anti-depressant ur not gonna feel anything period. those take a few weeks till they help u with your anxiety and u don’t really feel anything with those pills. they just get rid of some anxiety. they don’t calm u down like a sedative. now if ur taking a benzo pill, that u’ll feel like 20 min after u take it. that gets rid of anxiety and is like a sedative. calms u down and almost gives u a little high. so r u taking an anti depressant or benzo drug. whats the name of the pill u took?
