accutane is a very strong drug. what u need to know bout it is that you cant get pregnant a month before, during, or a month after you start it. you have to get monthly blood and pregnancy tests. the side effects are dry skin and lips, nosebleeds, fatigue, joint pain, ect. supposivly theres a chance it can make you depressed but that theory has been disproven in every study. its something u have to be commited to. the normal time period youre on it for is 6 months. good luck(:

Accutane is very effective, but usually used only after other methods have been tried. It also requires you be on birth control whether or not you are sexually active, due to birth defects in off spring. Keep your hair off of your forehead and your hands off your face.
