You try your darndest to do it gracefully. You color your hair and get the surgery you can afford and take your of yourself so you don’t look like a grey headed prune. I will turn 29 next year and the year after that and the year after that and……….you get the picture.
Enjoy life. Its no good trying to fight it.
I don’t wanna age. I’m scared to DEATH of dying. I was at a funeral of a great friend recently and seeing him in his death was horrible for me. This is why I don’t go to wakes. The thought of death is so scary for me it keeps me up at night. Oh good god, am I psychotic? haha! Also, less than that, my appearance… I pride myself on my looks. I’m no where near gorgeous, but my whole life people have told me that I was pretty (on the outside anyway) and now I”ve notices a line here, a crinkle there… I don’t wanna age. Anyone find the fountain of youth?
HI,
Well I am 42 and aging I am..I have lumps and bumps where I never had them before and I get tired easily..I used to be able to stay up later at night, but now look forward to going to bed.It is the way of life and it will happen to all of us..How you age is up to you..Exercise and stay active is good..Take care of your skin..I don’t go into the sun at all..My skin is fair and sensative. Aging I will do with grace..Feel good inside and it will show in the outside…Look as good as I can, and not compete with others who are 42 going on 21..I hope that I helped some with this question.. God bless you..

acceptance it’s inevitable.
Excuse me, noseygirl-but I am elderly with white hair and constantly get compliments on it,even from strangers so don’t knock it. In high school I had a few and by 40 was all gray and then it went to white. Recently I wanted it colored for a change but the beautician refused to touch it!
I am 82 and aging gracefully would not actually include using artificial means,i.e. plastic surgery -it has to do with inner beauty so concentrate on that rather than surface-which fades and over time you can only have so many plastic procedures. If your happiness depends on keeping your looks, that is sad and you will age unhappy every day of your life.
I am 70 years old so I know what I am talking about. Most younger people think we are senile, but we aren’t. Inside our wrinkled bodies, we still feel young and we still like to do things. Most of us still dance if our knees have not gone bad because of the many years we have been using them.
Since we have lived many many years, we have knowledge that you would not believe tucked away in our heads.
We have been through wars like you young people know nothing about. Iraq does not even come close to the pain the entire world went through during WWI, WWII, Korea, Vie Nam.
Next time you talk to an oldie, don’t talk down to them or as if they are babies. We aren’t and we think you are silly talking that way to us.

TOOOOOOOO many to explore here, Foremost it is a fact of life, so why fight it. Nothing lasts forever. It is just another part of one’s journey, I think a person’s views on it would differ depending on their life’s sisuation and the state of their health
and $$$ and family support. As a total like all of life, it is what one makes of it. It seems facing the reality of aging is a shocker when time comes you can’t do what you use to do.
One day you look in the mirror and ask who is that ole lady looking back at you, the growing pains are simular as to a teens growing pains, where do I fit in now, ecpecially if you
loose your life time mate, So many adjustments, changes,
Just another part of the journey and some how you keep traveling on cause that is what you have to do, Keep going even when you may not feel like it, Always something to
discover you did not know or expect, Blessings.
It’s doing my head in to be quite honest. Time goes faster and what’s left undone becomes a source of anxiety. Example… I am turning 33 this year and I am a woman. I have a string of failed relationships behind me with a biological clock ticking on. If I want kids (it changes day by day) I have to get a wiggle on. And yet I am over men and getting more and more compfortable with my own company as each day passes (needing a relationship less). So what to do if in two years no man? Bring home a man from the pub and get up the duff to him so I am not lonely when I get old. Makes me wish I was still 23.
I guess it depends where you are at and what you have done. As far as the physical part of it goes, yes… it ***** not being as cute as you once were, but what can you do about it. Men seem to get more attractive as they age. So overall the passing of time ***** more for woman. And then men have the hide to go and die on us earlier. What’s that about?
It’s fantastic, age has its advantages, an awareness of the beauty of life. A realisation that ever day is precious and MUST be enjoyed. The pleasure of watching your children grow into lovely adults. The joy of Grandchildren. The opportunity to continue education now that the pressures of child rearing is over. All good things Dudes.
I don’t like it because my soul and my mind don’t match my age and I’m afraid there will be time that there will be too much difference between them. Moreover I like the way I look now and I want to stay at that age……I don’t want to get older because I won’t be that active, healthy and crazy:)
2 Corinthians 4:16
Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
After 50, everything changes. (It did for me anyway.) I’ve lost physical strength but life has become a lot more interesting. I’m starting to understand things that used to go over my head. I am a Christian and have found God to be faithful. I’m looking forward to eternity with Him. John 3:16
The more you fight it the deeper the wrinkle will get.
Still here .
